A week with our favorite people

We're so glad that you're coming to celebrate with us.

It means the world to have friends and family together in one place.

You being there is the best possible gift, and we don't want anything else, please.

We've planned a few activities, but there will also be plenty of time to relax, wander, and explore on your own. The “Good to Know” section has suggestions for things to check out nearby.

Can't wait to spend a few wonderful days together and make new memories with all of you.

Saturday, August 7 — Arrival

Check-in opens at Mandorlo. "Drop in" as you arrive, settle in, and explore the grounds.

"Drop in" dinner at Mandorlo as you arrive at different times.

Sunday, August 8

Morning
Sleep in, relax by the pool, or explore the area at your own pace.
Lunch
Light lunch available at Mandorlo.
Afternoon
Olive oil tasting at Mascagni Organic Farm (map) — 30 min walk from Mandorlo.
7:00pm
Dinner in Pienza. Van leaving from Mandorlo.

Monday, August 9 — The Big Day (Birthdays!)

Morning
Sleep in, lounge by the pool, or take a final solo stroll before the party.
Lunch
Light lunch available at Mandorlo for those not "out & about".
12:30pm
Hike from Mandorlo to late lunch aperitivo in Lucignano D'Asso at "Da Rita e Eraldo" (map). Put on your walking shoes and dress for the weather! The hike is about 50-60 min. Option to take a car back.
7:00pm
Mingle & drinks at Mandorlo (transport from Cosona will be available).
8:00pm
Birthday dinner at Mandorlo followed by dancing! There will be a van doing runs up to Cosona during the evening (if you are not up for an evening walk).

Tuesday, August 10

Morning
Slow start with coffee and pastries at Mandorlo — recover from the Big Day.
12:00pm
Departure for wine tasting and lunch at Podere Le Ripi (map). We will meet up at Mandorlo and go together in vans so you can enjoy some wine and not worry about driving. If you prefer, you can of course take your own car. Let us know if you are coming directly to the vineyard. Afterwards, one van will go back to Mandorlo and the other will take you on a 2hr tour to the Sant'Antimo abbey and Montalcino — the heart of the famous wine district Brunello.

Dinner and mingle at Mandorlo.

Free day to explore on your own (see "Good to know").

Thursday, August 12

All day
Another free day — perfect for a day trip, a long lunch, or relaxing at the pool.

Enjoy your last full day — final adventures, last-minute shopping, or simply taking it easy.

How to get there

Flying into Florence is suggested, but Rome also works.

Mandorlo is 2 hours from Florence by car, or roughly 3 hours by train.

We'll share parking details and a map closer to the date.

The main train companies are Trenitalia and Italo.

We've reserved a block of rooms at a nearby hotel for our guests.

Booking details will be shared with your invitation. Cosona is also a great option with charming farm apartments just a short walk from Mandorlo.

Bring whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready for fun.

Think relaxed outfits for the week, something festive for Monday evening, and shoes you can dance in. Reminder, please don't include a gift in your packing — the gift really is you coming.
